Have your high school transcript(s) sent electronically. Submitting documents electronically is strongly recommended but may also be mailed to Saint Louis University's Office of Admission.
Additional Application Items
Though not required for admission, the following items are strongly encouraged. Please note that all documents must be submitted electronically at this time.
Standardized Test Scores. ACT/SAT scores are not required as part of the admission process. You may choose to submit ACT/SAT scores if you wish. Learn more about SLU's test-optional policy. SLU does not accept superscores so please be sure to send your composite score and all subscores from each completed test. International students are still required to demonstrate English proficiency, which may require the submission of a standardized test score.
Secondary School Report Form. The Secondary School Report Form should be completed by your high school guidance counselor.
Professional R'sum. Please include your name, state and high school on your r'sum.
Letters of recommendation. Letters should be emailed from the recommender to admission@slu.edu, and must include your name, state and high school.
Admission Interview. An admission interview is an opportunity to speak one-on-one with your admission counselor about your specific interests and application.

With six accelerated, eight-week terms each year provided by SLU online, you can begin working toward your degree at any time, making advanced education more accessible for working professionals.<br>A computer information systems degree can prepare students for advanced studies or employment in the ever-changing field of computer science and information technology.<br><br>According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the computer science and database industry is expected to grow by 12% through the year 2024, adding 488,500 new jobs. Job opportunities within this field have a broad range of salaries.<br><br>Students in the data analytics concentration may pursue a career as a market research analyst, data analyst or in business intelligence. Students learn how to collect, analyze, interpret and present information obtained from data drawn from multiple, often disparate sources of organizational data.<br><br>Students in the cybersecurity concentration may pursue a career as a cybersecurity analyst, web developer, computer network architect or information assurance engineer. Students gain the skills needed to secure an organization's information assets and ensure that data can be created, accessed and modified by only those with the requisite privileges.
