Students are required to have completed the equivalent of grade 12 level university preparatory English and 4 other university preparatory courses. The overall average should be equivalent to at least 70 percent with no individual grade below 60 percent.
Students may be admitted if they have completed the IB Diploma with a total score of 24 points and a minimum grade of 3 in required courses.
IELTS Academic minimum score of 6.5 with no individual score below 60.
IELTS Online Indicator Test minimum score of 6.5 with no individual score below 60.
Cambridge B2 First C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency minimum score of 176 with no individual score below 169.
TOEFL iBT minimum score of 80 overall with no score below 20.
TOEFL iBT Home Edition minimum score of 80 overall with no score below 20.
CAEL minimum score of 60 with no individual score below 50.
Pearson PTE score of 58 or better.
Completion of university preparatory English at a Languages Canada accredited school recognized by Saint Marys.

Over the past few decades, information systems and e-business have transformed the business landscape around the world. The Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Computing and Information Systems was designed in response to industry calls for business-savvy professionals who possess both theoretical and practical understanding of all five information systems components: hardware, software, data, processes, and users.<br><br>A major in Computing and Information Systems at the Sobey School of Business provides you with an in-depth understanding of applications of computer technology to the ever-changing world of business. The major will build your knowledge in key business functions, with an emphasis on preparing you to organize, manage, enhance, and exploit computerized information resources and electronic data networks. Youll gain the necessary skills for employment in this growing field.<br><br>Computing and Information Systems students work at the University's Centre for Academic Technology (CAT) and Information Technology Service and Support. Co-op placements have included positions with prominent local employers, including Bell Aliant, Export Development Canada, Templeton Properties and Sampling Technologies Inc. Students have held entry-level positions as team leaders, marketing managers, analysts, and junior developers.
