跨学科研究学士

跨学科研究学士学位是一个个性化的主要课程。该计划允许学生在跨学科领域设计自己的专业，而这是大学目前所没有的学位。BIS学位课程可能包括现有的UMSL未成年人或证书课程，并且可能包括6个小时的专业，服务或研究实习。
The Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies is an individualized major program. The program allows students to design their majors, in an interdisciplinary area th t does not exist as a current degree at the university. A BIS degree program may include an existing UMSL minor or certificate program, and may include 6 hours of professional, service or research internship. Interdisciplinary Studies students have designed individualized majors in areas as varied as art therapy, gender studies, gerontology, international studies, nonprofit administration and more. A student plans his or her own area of intellectual focus (Area of Study) with the help of the BIS Advisor and approval from the Interdisciplinary Studies Committee.
