The. B.A. in Individualized Studies affords students the opportunity to study interest areas not available in established programs and to incorporate previous learning, either an associate degree or transfer credits, into their bachelor's degree program. Subject areas that draw on several disciplines are accommodated by the flexibility of this degree. Working with an academic advisor, students can tailor a program of study to meet their professional and personal goals with either a broader, interdisciplinary concentration or one more narrowly defined. The University will accept up to 90 transfer credits, the final 30 degree credits must be completed at Rivier. A transfer credit evaluation will be conducted once transcripts and other documentation are received. Students can earn credit for prior learning and certifications, challenge and CLEP exams, and military courses, these will be discussed and determined as part of the evaluation and advising process. Individual course plans will be developed for each student once the process is complete.
