An arts degree says that you are a person who likes to challenge and be challenged. You will learn about human nature and the human mind as they are revealed through the arts, the languages and the politics of past and present cultures. By expanding your knowledge and becoming a critical thinker and good communicator, you will be equipped to adapt, learn, analyze, problem-solve and innovate. The Bachelor of Arts Honours (BA (Hons)) provides eligible students with the opportunity to pursue more intensive study in their chosen field, this may be of benefit to students considering graduate studies.The Honours program is 63 to 84 credits with requirements determined by each discipline. Students have the option of completing a minor from outside the Honours discipline. Some disciplines may require a minor.
