3 Letters of Recommendation
Transcripts (in English) from all colleges and universities attended. All unofficial copies of transcripts and scores can be uploaded to your online application for S&T to review. Upon arrival on campus, you must request that an official copy of your transcript(s) to be sent to us directly from your previous university's registrar's office and all official scores reported directly from the respective testing agency. Once we receive the official documents, we will verify them. If there are any discrepancies between the unofficial documents you submitted, Missouri S&T will withdraw your admission and you will not be allowed to apply to S&T in the future.
GRE and/or GMAT test scores. S and T's GRE Test Center Code is 6876 / GMAT test code is RWQ-TL-8

Applicants who have received a degree from a United States university will also be exempt from providing English test scores. Students applying for a graduate degree program at S&T must meet one of the minimum scores:
B.S. in engineering, or a physical science
Undergraduate courses: Calculus Series (I, II, III), Differential Equations or Linear Algebra, Statistics, Physics (I, II) or Chemistry, Engineering Economy (can be taken as part of the Ph.D. program)
GPA: M.S. GPA = 3.5
Graduate Record Exam (GRE): The GRE is not required for admission but can be used for admission decisions.
All international applicants must demonstrate sufficient command of English to successfully pursue work at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Minimum English proficiency test score requirements are 80 for TOEFL, 6.5 for IELTS, 58 for PTE, or 115 for Duolingo.
Statement of Purpose: All applicants must submit a statement of purpose.

You must have completed the equivalent of at least three years of full-time work beyond a bachelor's degree to be considered for this program. As a student in the program, you will conduct original research under the supervision of an advisor, and write and successfully defend a dissertation. You must normally spend at least two sequential semesters in full-time residence at the university. Our department features the first engineering management program in the country, and one of the best and highest-rated systems engineering programs in the world. Engineering management as an academic field originated on this campus in the mid-1960s thanks to the hard work of Professor Bernard Sarchet, and today we still are one of the top producers of graduates in this field. Engineering management focuses on the convergence of engineering, technology and business, and our department prepares individuals to work in that multidisciplinary arena. Our bachelor of science in engineering management is one of only five ABET accredited degrees in this field, and our masters of science in engineering management is one of only a few certified by the American Society of Engineering Management. Our systems engineering graduate program was developed in 1999 from a proposal to the Boeing Company to provide off-campus systems engineering graduate education to Boeing engineers and their suppliers worldwide. Since then, the graduate program has grown exponentially, educating professionals from over 20 companies around the world.
