To apply for admission to Seattle Colleges, international students must submit an online application, which includes completing a questionnaire, uploading all necessary documents. Depending on your applicant type, you may need to provide different documents and/or information with your application. You must also send all required documents by the deadline and be at least 16 years old by the first day of classes. Documents will be uploaded with the online application. Students who will still be underage (16 or 17) by the start of classes must provide a copy of their high school transcripts or a copy of their high school diploma. Proof of English proficiency is not required for admission to Seattle Colleges. However, if you want to skip the English placement test, you can provide proof of English proficiency in advance.
TOEFL iBT - 64, Writing 17
IELTS - 6.0, Writing 5.0
SAT - 510 in Reading and Writing
ACT - 19 for both English and Reading
TOEFL PBT - 507, Writing 4.0
U.S. high school graduation with GPA of at least 2.0

Mechatronics is a two-year program prepares students for immediate employment and future advancement in companies or government organizations that manufacture, service, sell, design or support electro-mechanical systems that control machinery, automation, and/or processes. This degree is offered jointly with Shoreline Community College. Students must take classes at both North Seattle College and Shoreline Community College in order to complete this degree. Learning Outcomes Identify and apply technical concepts and terms used in industrial energy and control. Ability to troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics. Ability to repair, maintain and install industrial production or processing machinery or equipment- both electrical and mechanical.
