It is specifically designed for those students who wish for a very broad undergraduate education, with a core study in physics. The BA in physics is tailored to allow students to double major with a BA in science education. It can also form part of a pre-medical or pre-professional program. While not preparatory for graduate study in physics, the bachelor of arts in physics can be used as general preparation for post baccalaureate study in education, business, law, and medicine.<br><br>East Carolina University's BA in physics degree provides the graduate with a core, foundational science education that complements other disciplines (such as education).
