Possess the equivalent of a U.S. high school/secondary diploma.
Submit official SAT/ACT scores.
As a freshman applicant, you must provide the Office of International Admissions & Programs (OIAP) with the equivalent of transcripts and secondary diploma from your home country.
If you are entering UHCL with prior university credit, you must also provide OIAP with official transcripts, individual mark/grade sheets (showing all passes and fails) and confirmation of degrees or diplomas for all academic studies attempted and completed at other college/universities.
Official International English Language System (IELTS) scores of 6.0 or higher, TOEFL - scores of 79, TOEFL exam - 550 on the paper-based TOEFL exam,

With a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from University of Houston-Clear Lake, you'll be prepared to develop, maintain and operate systems critical to life, health, property and the environment. Your skills can be applied to everything from bridge building to spacecraft design. The coursework for this program takes an interdisciplinary approach designed to create engineers who are knowledgeable in diverse systems engineering methods and management so they can then take key roles working in complex systems vital to aerospace, telecommunications, biomedicine, chemical engineering, energy, and manufacturing. The program offers the full range of concurrent engineering concepts and skills needed to specify, implement and support complete systems.he graduate plan in Systems Engineering leads to a Master of Science degree. The plan prepares engineers who are knowledgeable in interdisciplinary systems engineering approaches and engineering management and who therefore have the full range of concurrent engineering concepts and skills needed to specify, implement and support complete systems. Such knowledge is particularly important in the evolution of systems that are critical to achieving the mission of an organization and to sustaining the safety of life, health, property and the environment. Such systems are vital to many organizations that are served by UHCL including aerospace, biomedical, chemical, energy, manufacturing and others. The plan consists of formal courses, laboratory work and research conducted under the guidance of a faculty adviser. Candidates can tailor their plan of study to emphasize systems engineering analysis or systems engineering management.
