Youll learn the basics of game design by studying, game production, concepts, art and sound, game theory and system strategies, progressive design and production, and to develop, produce and publicize a finished game that youve helped create as part of a team. Your game design courses will be a mix of hands-on production classes and seminars in theoretical foundations. The degree requires a portfolio review about midway through your program to determine whether you're ready to progress to more advanced coursework.
