The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is offered for the student eventually seeking a Master of Fine Arts degree, the position of a professional artist or designer, and for teaching studio art within a selected specialization. The B.F.A. degree program is demanding, requiring high quality performance in order to develop the professional competence of talented students toward successful entrance into the professional art field.<br>The mission of the College of the Arts is to provide a dynamic, contemporary learning environment that honors tradition, embraces diversity, inspires innovation, and strives for excellence.
