Ball State's bachelor's degree in visual arts with an emphasis in printmaking covers four kinds of printmaking: intaglio, lithography, relief, and serigraphy. Courses in these techniques of printmaking present a basic understanding of the media as well as methods to take advantage of the versatility of the processes.Printmaking in various forms is perhaps over 1,500 years old and found particular favor in the West during the Renaissance.
