The Sociology and Psychology Departments are now offering two new interdisciplinary programs in Child and Adult Advocacy Studies: a minor for undergraduate students and a certificate for those already in the workforce.<br>The Child and Adult Advocacy Studies Certificate program is designed for individuals who are already working in professional environments and are seeking additional training and knowledge relevant to their work.<br>This 12-credit program provides mandated reporters and first responders in many disciplines with evidence-based, culturally relevant knowledge and skills to improve the outcomes for victims and perpetrators of interpersonal violence across the lifespan.
