中学课程旨在为中学准备学科专家。该计划具有特殊的教育重点，以更好地装备候选人，以满足单个学习者的需求。该课程不能通过兼读制学习。该程序必须在初次注册后的三年内完成。学生必须成功完成CGPA为2.67或更高且不低于C-的所有课程。学生还必须在全年中成功完成有监督的实习。学生必须在分配给他们的中学任教。第一年的实习包括11月/十二月的五周课程和三月/四月的五周课程。第二年的实习包括11月/十二月的五周课程和三月/四月的五周课程。学生必须成功完成这些实习课程才能毕业。
The Acadia University Bachelor of Education is a 60-credit hour post baccalaureate program. It offers both Elementary and Secondary streams. Our program is designed to provide initial teacher preparation consistent with the needs of today's professional educator. Students may choose to complete their Education degree at Acadia through our 2-year program which starts in September and finishes in April in each of two years, or by enrolling in our 16-month program which begins in May and finishes in August of the following year. Students in the Secondary program specialize in selecting both a major and a minor teaching discipline. Elementary Program students will be endorsed as a general Elementary School teacher. Some students may also seek dual endorsation by attaining the credentials to be certified to teach both as an Elementary teacher and a subject specific specialist at the Secondary level.
