课程简介

Early childhood is a unique time in a child's development and it takes special skills and competencies to provide children with the grounding on which they build the rest of their education. Explore this program to find out how you can be a part of this innovative field. The Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education leads to initial licensure in Massachusetts to teach public school preschool through second grade. The program is 39 credits, 13 courses and typically takes students two years to complete. For some candidates, the teaching license can be earned part way through the program. Students can complete practicum (student teaching) as soon as licensure competencies are met. As soon as the practicum is done, students will be endorsed for their initial license and can finish the remaining credits for the graduate degree while working as full-time teachers.
