A focus on how to adjust instruction and assessment to maximize learning opportunities for all students in the K-6 classroom. The overall theme of the program is differentiated instruction so you will be provided in-depth instruction on different aspects of teaching that can impact students in different ways. The goal is to expand the professional educator's toolbox by teaching different paradigms of instruction.<br>The University of Alabama in Huntsville program also provides a unique experience for general education educators to learn side-by-side with special education educators in a core set of classes before moving to specific concentrations based upon your interest. ESOL candidates must complete an internship, which may be done on the job throughout the program of study. The overall purpose of the Class A programs are to help teachers more effectively serve students in diverse settings through the development of a higher level of competence.
