Have earned a 4-year baccalaureate degree/3-year baccalaureate degree from select international institutions or its equivalent from an accredited college,university, or other institution of higher learning. Only an official transcript accompanied by attested translation into English(if needed) will be accepted as evidence of academic preparation.English proficiency is demonstrated by achieving a score of 550 or better on the TOEFL-Pbt, a score of 79 on the TOEFL-IBT, a band score of 6 on the IELTS.
Wright State University bachelor’s degree in Integrated Science
OR
Bachelor’s degree and C or better in undergraduate prerequisite education courses and field experiences
2.7 cumulative minimum undergraduate GPA
C or better in prerequisite science content courses
Passing scores on the Ohio Assessment for Educators exam for Integrated Science or other science teaching fields


The following requirements are effective for Summer 2020 and beyond**:

Bachelor’s Degree in the following area:
Wright State University Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Science OR
Bachelor’s degree and C or better in undergraduate prerequisite education courses and field experiences
2.75 cumulative minimum undergraduate GPA
C or better in prerequisite science and education courses
A passing score on the Ohio Assessment for Educators exam(s) for the science teaching fields you are pursuing for licensure
Demonstration of reading, writing, and math competency on a nationally normed test

One of the following Reading scores:

ACT Reading Score of 22 or better
SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Score of 543 or better
ETS Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators Reading Score of 168 or better
GRE Verbal Reasoning (Reading) score of 151 or better

One of the following Writing scores (beginning 2021):

ACT Writing score of 6 or better
SAT Writing Dimension Score of 5 or better
ETS Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators Writing score of 165 or better
GRE Analytical Writing score of 4 or better

One of the following Math Scores:

ACT Math score of 22 or better
SAT Math Score of 533 or better
ETS Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators Math score of 162 or better
GRE Quantitative Reasoning (Math) score of 153 or better

ED 2750 final Dispositions Assessment demonstrating a Meets Requirements rating.
