Official Academic Transcripts
Official academic transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended, undergraduate and graduate are required. These are generally submitted directly from the previous school's registrar to Rivier University Admissions.
Applicants for graduate programs must have transcripts indicating that they have completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent international institution.
Letters of Recommendation
Letters of recommendation are submitted directly from a current or former academic or professional reference.
Interview
While not usually required, many graduate programs recommend that applicants have an in-person, or telephone interview during the application process with an academic leader in their program area to ensure the intended program fits with the educational goals of the applicant.
Our minimum acceptable scores for standard English tests are TOEFL (61), IELTS (5.5)

课程简介
Rivier offers the Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) Middle/Secondary Mathematics in two tracks-one for current teachers and the other for career changers. In this program, current teachers will enhance their teaching knowledge and skill sets, while those new to teaching will receive preparation for certification to teach mathematics in grades 5–12. For current teachers, the M.A. in Teaching Middle/Secondary Mathematics increases classroom competencies, their knowledge of the learner, knowledge of pedagogy, and knowledge of mathematics. Prospective teachers will deepen their knowledge of social studies topics and develop teaching strategies and skills for classroom success. In the M.A. in Teaching Middle/Secondary Mathematics program, you will: Become an effective educator and communicator Connect theory with practice for classroom success Gain critical problem-solving and analytical skills Develop computational fluency and mathematical logic
