Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants and for applicants whose first language is not English
A cumulative weighted average of at least a 70% (USask grade system equivalent) in the last two years of study (e.g. 60 credit units)
A minimum of one year of practical experience in education or a related field post degree if the applicant holds a B.Ed. degree or a minimum of three years of practical experience in education or a related field post degree if the applicant does not hold a B.Ed. degree
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent from a recognized college or university
IELTS (Academic) - Overall Band Score 6.5 With minimum individual scores of Reading 6, Listening 6, Speaking 6, Writing 6
TOEFL IBT - Internet Based 86 With minimum individual scores of Reading 19, Listening 19, Speaking 19, Writing 19
PTE Academic - Overall score of 63 With minimum individual skills scores of Reading 59, Listening 59, Speaking 59, Writing 59

This program addresses the relationship between practice and theory in curriculum research, design, implementation, evaluation, and leadership, as well as expertise in educational technology and communication. Those choosing to pursue a Master of Education in Curriculum Studies will be encouraged to focus on aspects of praxis leading to expertise and leadership in that area.
