THREE LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Transcripts and/or diplomas are to be submitted both in the original language and translated from every postsecondary school you have attended, whether or not you have obtained a degree.
Graduate Record Examination scores should be sent to the department by ETS using the Institution code 1324 and Department code 2603. The College Graduate Office requires a minimum score of 151 of the verbal reasoning, a 153 on the quantitative reasoning, and a 4 on the analytical writing. Exceptions can be made in cases of particular merit. (Optional, please take the exam if possible)

Recent graduate seminars have featured topics ranging from insanity in medieval France to marginalization in recent francophone cinema.<br>Fast-Track PhD Program<br>Students with a previous MA degree may be admitted to our four-year PhD Fast-Track program<br>Our doctoral programs in French have been ranked in the top 10 in the nation by the National Research Council.
