Language is the primary medium of human culture and expression. Our programs in Spanish open doors to new ways of understanding the world through the study of language, culture and literature. You will delve into the language of Cervantes, Lorca, Garcia Marquez and Almodvar and explore one of the world's most widely spoken languages.<br><br>Starting from the four basic language skills speaking, listening, reading and writing our programs integrate innovative approaches to the study of Spanish and expose students to a diversity of related aspects such as language, translation, culture and literature. Opportunities for exchange and travel abroad programs Concordia International in collaboration with the Department of Classics, Modern Languages and Linguistics (CMLL) offer a Concordia in Spain Spanish Language and Culture Program during the summer. This exciting program provides Concordia students the opportunity to participate in an educational and cultural immersion at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca while earning 12 Concordia credits in Spanish language and culture courses.<br><br>Concordia International, in collaboration with the various faculties and the School of Graduate Studies, administers student exchange and internships with Concordia's partner universities and other institutions of higher learning around the world. This exchange enhances relationships between the people and cultures of different countries and promotes international education.
