As a freshman applicant, you must provide the Office of International Admissions & Programs (OIAP) with the equivalent of transcripts and secondary diploma from your home country.
If you are entering UHCL with prior university credit, you must also provide OIAP with official transcripts, individual mark/grade sheets (showing all passes and fails) and confirmation of degrees or diplomas for all academic studies attempted and completed at other college/universities.
Official International English Language System (IELTS) scores of 6.0 or higher, TOEFL - scores of 79, TOEFL exam - 550 on the paper-based TOEFL exam,

Pursuing a Master of Arts in History is an excellent way to acquire in-depth and specialized knowledge of the periods, topics and developments that interest you most. The graduate program in History leads to the Master of Arts (M.A.) degree. Students may enroll with degrees from other fields, although undergraduate training in History is desirable. GRE completion is not required for applicants to this program. The Master of Arts in History also provides valuable training for careers in museum studies, archival work, the law and many other fields. Master's degree candidates prepare a Candidate Program of Study (CPS) with the assistance and approval of a faculty adviser. All master's degree options must contain a minimum of 36 graduate semester credit hours.
