High School Transcript is required
An official transcript (preferred) includes the school's official seal or the signature of a school administrator and is either sent directly from the school or submitted in an envelope sealed by the school. Your high school counselor can also email a high school transcript and it will be considered official if submitted from a school email address as verification.
Unofficial transcripts are sufficient to complete your application file
Your transcript must show:
Name
Grades received through the end of the junior year
GPA
Electronic copies are accepted through a secure source (i.e. Parchment, Naviance, TRex, Slate.org, Scribbles, National Clearinghouse, SCOIR and Greenlight).
Paper transcripts may be mailed to the following address and are received in 2-4 weeks.
Official IELTS score of 6.5
Official TOEFL score of 80
GPA - 3.0

The History program at Baylor is for students intrigued by the stories we tell about our past. History is the study of the human past as it is constructed and interpreted, based on written, material, and oral evidence. It teaches us empathy for others, respectful debate, and appreciation for experiences unlike our own. History is essential to active national and global citizenship.<br>Courses offered include:<br>American Revolution and Constitution<br>Hitler and the Holocaust<br>The Vikings<br>War and Peace in the Middle East<br>History of Black America<br>History of the American Woman<br>The History department offers a broad array of opportunities for students, including Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, public history internships, a number of departmental scholarships, the opportunity to work on individual research projects with faculty and publication opportunities for student research. We bring nationally-recognized scholars to campus through the Edmondson Lecture Series, the Black History Month Lecture Series, and the Women's History Month Lecture Series. Baylor's award-winning Model Organization of American States team is based in the History department. Unique opportunities for undergraduate research exist in Baylor's Institute for Oral History, Texas Collection, Keston Center for Religion, Politics, & Society, and Armstrong-Browning Library.
