Admitted students are required to submit final secondary school (high school) transcripts and/or proof of degree completion (A-Levels, WAEC, CBSE, High School Certificate, etc.) before enrolling at DePaul.
TOEFL - 80 on the IBT TOEFL with no subsection lower than 17 , IELTS Academic - 6.5 on the IELTS Academic, SAT - minimum evidence based reading and writing score of 550, ACT - minimum reading score of 18 and English score of 20.

The History of Art and Architecture program focuses on the diverse visual traditions of different societies around the world. You will develop visual literacy by critically thinking about how art and architecture affect individuals and societies. Enhance your persuasive writing, research and oral communication skills, and take advantage of Chicago's rich cultural resources. Spend time at exhibits, museums, urban landscapes and architectural monuments, giving you an extremely rich academic experience. The Department of the History of Art and Architecture offers the BA in the History of Art and Architecture and three minors: A minor in the History of Art and Architecture, the Cities Minor, offered jointly with the Department of Geography, and the Museum Studies Minor, offered jointly with the Departments of Anthropology, and History. Its programs engage students in sophisticated discussion and critical analysis of diverse cultural, ethnic and gender traditions in the visual arts within and outside of the student's own culture, and encourage an in-depth awareness of the history of art as a discipline, with an emphasis on its most compelling theoretical issues and its various methodological approaches.
