1 A degree in the field of education, a teaching qualification such as a PGCE or a degree in a closely related cognate field.
2 Demonstrated formal or informal leadership experience in an organisational context that the applicant expressly explores in their personal statement.
Please note there is limited opportunity for credit transfer onto this course. PGCE credits are generally not accepted for transfer. Requests for credit transfer will be considered by the course convenor.
You should usually hold a second-class honours degree (certain programmes may require a 2:1) from a recognised British or overseas university. Advice on recognition can be obtained from the Admissions Office. Non-graduates with appropriate professional qualifications will be considered on an individual basis by Programme Conveners, contact details can be found on the individual programme page. Applicants will be expected to apply and register for the full master's award. Those with a third-class honours degree are encouraged to complete an application as we will consider an applicant's wider circumstances in making a decision on an application.
IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with a minimum 5.5 in each component.

This incorporates:<br><br>Studying leadership and management in educational contexts from international perspectives to develop your knowledge, understanding and practice<br>Taking a people-focused approach, to understand the complexities of individuals and teams, and wider groups such as the staff, the organisation itself and beyond.<br><br>The aim of this master's programme is to strengthen students awareness of the social and communal influences that impact upon the ideas, frameworks and practices adopted by leaders and organisations within our communities.<br><br><br>The course is delivered through stimulating, interactive workshops, lectures, and seminars at Roehampton. You will study the foundational skills and concepts in academic enquiry and planning for your specialist research. Your research will be in the form of a dissertation, as a means of critically enquiring into and developing knowledge about an issue or question relevant to your study.<br><br>The Roehampton School of Education is a progressive and inclusive community, putting you at the centre of your learning journey.
