Students take a number of units over 2 years to complete their VCE. Fees apply to international students for assessment of units by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority VCAA. Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL).Students may take 2 years to complete their VCAL. VCAL is designed to prepare students for the workplace at the end of year 12. Students undertake 3 days per week at school with studies in Literacy, Numeracy, Personal Development and Work Education. Students spend one day per week in TAFE training related to a particular profession and one day per week in a related work placement.<br><br>Victorian School of Languages (VSL)<br>Most international students enrol in a Language Other Than English (usually their first language), at VCE level, usually Unit 3 and 4. This can be taken in Year 11 or 12. International students are encouraged to enrol as a good result in their first language study at Year 12 can increase their Australian Tertiary Admittance Rank (ATAR). Classes are held on Saturday mornings at schools near Wantirna College. Payment for these classes is included in a student's tuition fees to Department of Education.
