如果您没有资格，或者没有学习过与所选课程充分相关的高级科目，但具备了学习学位的能力，那么基础课程可以提供升读学位的途径。每个预科课程都是特定学位课程的一部分。您申请了四年全日制课程，包括预科课程。所有预科课程的学生都可以从多个来源获得学术和教牧支持，包括私人导师，预科课程指导经理和大学学生服务。成功完成教育基础年课程可确保自动升入所选链接学位的一年级。根据所选择的关联程度，毕业后会有不同的潜在职业机会，这些在个人课程入学时会更详细地概述。
Throughout our education foundation year, you'll consider these and other questions from a range of disciplinary perspectives. Drawing on sociological and psychological theories and ideas, you'll explore your own personal experiences of childhood and education.<br><br>We want to make your experience as interactive and collaborative as possible. The foundation year is designed to introduce you to a range of current debates and contemporary issues in education.<br><br>As you progress through the course, you will have the option to explore your personal journey within education, before selecting to study further within either BA (Hons) Education or BA (Hons) Early Years and Childhood Studies to support your career intentions.<br><br>You will be encouraged to develop an awareness of your skills and knowledge, alongside building your confidence within higher education.
