The Mathematics B.S. program is especially suitable if you want a rigorous program with an emphasis on theory, or if you plan to go on to do graduate work in mathematics. The Department of Mathematics offers five undergraduate programs, B.S. and B.A. degrees in mathematics, a B.S. degree in applied mathematics, and in conjunction with the Program in Applied Statistics and Probability, a B.S. in financial mathematics and statistics.
