High school graduate: If you are currently in high school, we just need to see your 9-11 (or equivalent) grade transcripts for an admission decision. However, you must graduate from an approved high school (or equivalent) prior to starting classes at CMU.
To ensure your success at CMU, you must provide proof of proficiency in English
Submit official transcripts from your high school. If you have college credits, also submit transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended.
TOEFL: 550 PBT/79 IBT for regular admission.
IELTS: 6.5 for regular admission.
General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) or General Certificate of Education (GSE): A score of A or B on the English Language Exam.
SAT: Evidence-based Reading and Writing (EBRW) score of 520.
ACT: English score of 21.
ELS Language Center Program: Completion of Level 112 for regular admission.
International Baccalaureate (IB): A grade of 5 in English at the Higher Level is required for regular admission.

课程简介
Your ability to advocate for and teach others will suit you well as a CMU special education major. Through this program, youll develop an expertise in inspiring children and young adults with learning, cognitive, physical, emotional and health needs. Youll gain life-changing experiences through student groups, community opportunities and CMU disABILITY Awareness events. Youll be able to volunteer for the Special Olympic Summer Games each year on campus, or you can head to Traverse City for the Winter Games. All students become dually certified in special education and general education with an elementary or secondary focus. Students interested in obtaining the Michigan Provisional Teaching Certificate must complete the Bachelor of Science in Education degree in the desired level and appropriate content area(s), including the following:<br>Special Education: Teachers of Students with Cognitive Impairment<br>Special Education: Teachers of Students with Emotional Impairment
