强化英语课程

Non degree-seeking students accepted into the Intensive English Program (IEP) are tested and placed into the appropriate level based on the English language skills they already possess. Each level is one eight-week session. At the end of the session, students move to the next level based on their grades. Degree-seeking students are generally placed into courses based on their TOEFL/IELTS scores submitted with admission. Students take a variety of non-credit courses that balance the importance of academic achievement as well as cultural needs. These courses help students develop their critical thinking skills, their communicative ability, and their overall language proficiency. The courses include reading with an intensive reading lab, writing and grammar, listening and speaking, and an integrated skills course focusing on culture.
