Application requires a bachelor's degree preferably in a human service area such as education, social work, psychology, human services, etc. Graduates from other undergraduate majors, who have experience in the human service field or demonstrated motivation to enter the field of counseling, may also apply.
Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in their undergraduate degree or take the Graduate Record Exam.
Applicants may be admitted to a graduate program if they have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least a 3.0 (B) cumulative undergraduate GPA and a 3.0 (B) GPA in their major. The Office of Admissions requires official transcripts of all college-level course work. To be considered official, transcripts must arrive in sealed envelopes from each institution attended. You may also submit your transcripts electronically through a secure transcript service. Emailed/faxed transcripts will not be considered official. Final and official transcripts are required from every institution attended. IELTS score of 6.5, TOEFL IBT score of 79.
