The College offers a specialised program preparing students for secondary studies, generally of one semester for long term students needing full-time Intensive English development. This includes orientation to Australian teaching and learning and academic skill development before entering their mainstream year levels. Classes are conducted on campus in the Immanuel ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) Centre. Students are able to observe some suitable high school classes and integrate into selected mainstream subject classes in their final term in the ELICOS Centre.<br><br>The Middle School is the home to Years 7-9, the physical and emotional rollercoaster from age 13 to 15. Developed around the concept of a Mall, the Middle School is a connected space that students can take ownership of, feeling like they belong. Year 7 is all about teaching mature and independent learning, taking those first steps away from childhood. They are introduced extensively to technology, learning that it doesn’t just belong to STEM, but is useful throughout all pathways.
