朋友学校很荣幸为11年级和12年级的学生提供国际文凭课程的学习机会。该课程严格而又在智力上是连贯的，它通过研究传统学术学科中的广泛学科来鼓励批判性思维，同时鼓励国际视野。国际文凭（IB）文凭课程（DP）为期两年的学习课程，内部和外部评估为学生提供了升学后的升学途径，尤其是大学入学要求。它在138个以上国家（包括所有澳大利亚的高等教育机构）的大学中得到认可，并在近150个国家的4500余所学校任教。现在，澳大利亚近70所学校提供IB文凭。
The curriculum is rigorous and intellectually coherent, encouraging critical thinking through the study of a wide range of subjects in the traditional academic disciplines while encouraging an international perspective. The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) is two-year course of study with internal and external assessment preparing students for post-secondary school pathways, especially university entrance. It is recognised by universities in over 138 countries (including all Australian tertiary institutions) and taught in more than 4500 schools in almost 150 countries. Almost 70 schools in Australia now offer the IB Diploma. <br>The Diploma Programme offers a broad and balanced course of study with students taking six subjects chosen from six discipline groups. In addition they take three core subjects (Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) and the Extended Essay). These foundation subjects prepare students through Year 11 to succeed in Year 12 and in their lives beyond.Clemes is The Friends School senior campus and houses Year 11 and Year 12 students. All students are enrolled in the Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE) or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). As part of their TCE, students may also enrol in Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses, some of which are held off-campus. Some students also enrol in the Higher Achiever program or University College Program at the University of Tasmania. Students and parents should refer to the Year 11 12 Course Book available on the School website for details of courses and suggested loads for students undertaking the TCE and/or the IBDP.
