在10年级即将结束时,学生需要选择11年级和12年级的课程。有多种选择:<br> <br>学生可以学习5或6个权威学科。目的是实现由QSA(昆士兰研究局)颁发的OP(总体职位),使他们能够开始自己选择的第三级课程,而学生可以选择科目和职业教育课程的组合。通过选择这些选项,学生将获得QCAA(昆士兰课程与评估局)颁发的大学入学排名,这将使他们能够继续接受高等教育(大学或TAFE)的进一步学习,<br>校本培训也是适用于所有高中阶段的学生,使他们能够在仍在学校完成学业的同时,在所选领域接受培训并从事有偿工作。
The Year 10 curriculum at All Saints aims to ensure that all studentsreceive a balanced education and are well prepared for theQueensland Certificate of Education (QCE)and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) systems that define Years 11 and 12.At the beginning of Year 10,students willpick subjects for three terms. The fourth term marks the beginning of their QCE Year 11 studies. Students will choose theirsubjects for QCE Unit One after getting a goodtaste for the senior curriculum.There are three compulsory courses in Year 10. These areEnglish, Mathematics and Rotation. The Rotation line includes lessons of Physical Education, Christian Living, a careers-based futures program and the Wonder Project, an All Saints initiative.<br>The senior years at All Saintsare designed to help students achieve their desired outcomes for tertiary and career pathways. Students can opt for 'general syllabuses',which are best suited for those who are interested in tertiary study,and 'applied syllabuses', which are best suited to those who are primarily interested in pathways that lead to vocational education and training(VET)or work.Years 11 and 12 include preparation for,and undertaking,the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE)and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) assessments that help guide studentpathways. They are also focused on preparing applications for tertiary study and careers beyond school.
