Academic IELTS overall score of 6.0 (no band lower than 5.5). Students who do not have a band score of IELTS 6.0 or higher in Reading and Writing will be required to take English 104. TOEFL ibt 80 overall with no subsection less than 19. TOEFL - 550, PTE Academic 54 overall with no component less than 46

Take the first step toward an exciting career in Industrial electrical and automation. Learn to troubleshoot, maintain and build electronic circuits including microprocessors and robotics equipment. Approximately 700 hours of lab time gives you hands-on experience in the correct use of tools, testing equipment, troubleshooting procedures and soldering techniques. Graduates may continue on to the second year of the Industrial Automation diploma. You will learn the required skills to repair, maintain and install electronic circuits and equipment. Hands-on experiments teach you the correct use of tools, test equipment, troubleshooting procedures and soldering techniques. You will accumulate approximately 700 hours of hands-on lab time. As a student in this program you will be eligible for student membership with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC). After two years of practical work experience, you will also be eligible to become a CTech or CET member of the provincial professional association. Benefits of membership in a provincial association include employer recognition and access to the Canadian Technical Employment Network (CTEN) for job hunting.
