Construction Project Management is a one-year college graduate program. Students will learn the knowledge and skills required to advance in the construction industry to a management position. Courses focus on theories and practices of modern construction management in residential, industrial, commercial and institutional construction projects.<br>Fanshawe’s Construction Project Management program will provide the skills needed to navigate the modern and dynamic construction industry.<br>The two-term Construction Project Management program will focus on the knowledge and skills required to advance in the construction industry to a management position, acknowledging the new demands of this role that include the theory and practice of managing a residential, industrial, commercial and institutional (I.C.I.) construction project from start to finish, while working inter-professionally and coordinating the work with a variety of other tradesprofessions. This program is also designed to meet the need for people with out-of-Canada qualifications such as architects and engineers to use their skills and qualify for these well paid, rewarding jobs.<br>This program has been accredited by the Canadian Construction Association Gold Seal Accreditation Board. Upon graduation, students will have earned twenty-five credits toward their formal education requirement.
