This 3-year course, is now only available for direct entry to Year 2 from September 2021. You may be interested in our new 4 year BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management course. Building Surveying is concerned with the maintenance, adaptation, refurbishment and repair of buildings. You will develop a range of skills relating to the built environment including, managing tasks and solving problems, applying numeracy, as well as design, technology and management skills and communication. On the building surveying route, you will gain an in-depth understanding of how to manage, maintain and adapt buildings to ensure the continued use of our built environment assets. You will develop an in-depth understanding of how buildings function by developing detailed knowledge of construction technology and building pathology.
