国际学生入学条件
Minimum TOEFL Requirements ibt- 100
Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association, or completed an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree from a college or university of recognized standing.
Though E-IPER has no course prerequisites for application purposes, it is expected that students will enter the PhD program with foundational quantitative skills. These skills can certainly be obtained through E-IPER coursework as long as students understand that this may extend the length of their program. Additionally, the strongest applicants will be able to demonstrate coursework, professional and/or other research experience in multiple disciplines including (but not limited to) physical, biological and social sciences. Further, the admissions committee would expect to see some coursework or practical experience in the applicant's areas of proposed research.
Statement of Purpose
Your Statement of Purpose should be uploaded as a Word or PDF file in the electronic application (statement should be 2 single spaced pages maximum). In your statement, describe your academic and professional preparation for E-IPER, why you are seeking an interdisciplinary graduate program, your research interests and how they will integrate traditional disciplines, and which faculty members might be best suited to advise you. We are not looking for a detailed research proposal, rather, a bigger picture of your interests, how they fit in E-IPER, and what you ultimately hope to do upon completing your PhD.
Faculty of Interest & Supplemental Questions
Letters of Recommendation- Following the instructions in the electronic application system, request that your three letters of recommendation be submitted electronically by the deadline. It is required by the University that at least one of the recommenders be a faculty member at the last school you attended as a full-time student unless you have been out of school for more than five years. Substitutions for faculty recommendations may include work associates or others who can comment on your potential for graduate work.
Transcripts-Upload unofficial transcripts from all universities and colleges you attended for one year or more in the electronic application by the stated application deadline

E-IPER's PhD in Environment and Resources degree program is designed to enable students to become first-rate interdisciplinary researchers and acquire the knowledge and skills to succeed in both academic and non-academic careers. E-IPER's core courses engage diverse faculty and expose students to current environmental challenges, research design, and a range of qualitative and quantitative methods. Beyond the core courses, the program's course requirements are structured to be rigorous yet flexible, accommodating the needs of a tremendous range of students' interests and skills while serving the principal goal of creating top-notch interdisciplinary researchers. Students obtain expertise in two distinct Fields of Inquiry, the central focus of students dissertation research, while also demonstrating a breadth of interdisciplinary understanding related to environment and resources. Through their research and participation in a variety of workshops, conferences, policy-making proceedings, public education events, entrepreneurial ventures, and other activities, E-IPER students are seeking new knowledge, discoveries, and tools to address some of society's most intractable environmental and resource challenges.
