Studying Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management opens many career opportunities, from food systems to international affairs. For EPSM students looking to build an area of expertise, below are listed some potential areas of specialization based on courses from across The New School's current graduate offerings. A specialization is a way that students with specific interests can focus the content of their elective courses to reflect their specialized areas of interest. While there are many potential course combinations and specializations, these categories reflect some of the most popular and salient topics related to the environmental and sustainability sectors. Areas of specialization are not a required component of the MS degree.
