The Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management is a science degree program with an emphasis on courses dealing with the environment and its management. On successful completion of the program students will have: Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the discipline of environmental science and management through the application of knowledge and skills in ethical professional practice Work independently andor collaboratively to analyse, evaluate and interpret complex environmental issues and management strategies from both broader social and specific disciplinary perspectives Use critical reasoning and evidence-based methodologies to collect and analyse information, and generate solutions and management strategies for a range of complex environmental issues Demonstrate professional judgement and responsibility by communicating environmental management solutions and strategies to specialist and non-specialist audience Not everyone uses their degree in the same way and the transferable skills gained through university study may allow graduates to pursue a range of careers that might not be directly linked to their study.
