From conserving biodiversity for sustainable development to tackling air pollution and flooding, youll be focused on finding solutions to the planet's urgent problems. Taught collaboratively between the School of Geography and the School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences, youll have the unique opportunity to extend your interests in biology, ecology, and evolution. And youll apply your new knowledge to develop an understanding of the biological, physical, and chemical processes that drive change in the Earth's system.<br><br>This programme will equip you with advanced environmental understanding and practical skills, ready for employment in the sector. Many of our Environmental Science graduates use their scientific knowledge directly, as environmental consultants, engineers, nature conservation experts, or water quality scientists. Others take their transferable skills into diverse careers, from town planning to responsible investing.
