This Environmental Geochemistry degree, with a year's work placement, will prepare you for a career tackling the critical problems facing global society. The first three Stages of this degree follow the same programme as our Environmental Sciences BSc Honours degree. Between Stages 2 and 3 you take a year-long work placement in a relevant environmental sector, gaining valuable work experience. In Stage 4 you apply your knowledge to important societal problems such as: petroleum exploration and production, unconventional geoenergy, carbon and nutrient cycling, the Earth's changing climate.
