To meet the entry requirements for this course you must have completed, at minimum, an Australian Year 12 qualification or overseas equivalent.
If you are admitted on this basis, you will be eligible for admission under standard entry.

Successful completion of an Australian Year 12 award with an ATAR acceptable to UNE in the year of admission (minimum scores for entry into each UNE course are available directly from UNE International), or
Successful completion of a recognised Foundation Studies program conducted by an Australian University or affiliate with a minimum score of 60% in all units including English.
An IELTS (Academic) overall score of at least 6.0 with no sub-band less than 5.5, or equivalent
TOEFL score of at least 213 in the computer-based test, or at least 79 in the internet-based test with no less than 22 in the written component.

With UNE's Bachelor of Agriculture/Bachelor of Business you will gain practical, production-oriented skills and knowledge in agriculture together with in-depth skills and knowledge in business, management and finance. You will learn to formulate strategies and become an informed decision maker who can communicate effectively in this rapidly evolving industry.<br>Our combined degree enables you to specialise by studying one of four business majors to complement the paddock-ready skills you gain from the Bachelor of Agriculture component. Depending on your business major, you may also focus your agriculture studies by choosing one of six agriculture minors. You will be well positioned for career success with the expertise to adapt to a changing world.<br>Studying an agriculture and business-based course at UNE offers you the opportunity to:<br>Gain formal practical experience in agricultural enterprises and apply coursework theory to workplace situations during your studies to improve your employability as a graduate.<br>Access the latest agricultural techniques and technology at our innovative SMART Farms. With either properties covering 3,655 hectares, including farms within minutes of campus and a commercial scale feedlot, the UNE SMART Farms are diverse and valuable teaching and research resources that you will utilise during your course. The farms support a range of disciplines including grazing and intensive livestock, cropping, pastures, poultry, genetics and precision agriculture.<br>Contribute to our SMART Region Incubator which is run by the Business School and provides a supportive community for start-ups in the region.
