地理信息科学与技术（GIS＆T）集中课程为地理思想以及人文和自然地理学奠定了坚实的基础，并通过使用地理信息系统以及遥感工具和概念为学生提供了空间分析和建模方面的先进知识和技能。还提供了进阶学习的准备。攻读地理科学学士学位的学生可以专注于人与环境的关系（HER）或地理信息科学与技术（GIS＆T）。两种浓度都共享某些核心课程，例如自然环境地理学（GEOG 111G），世界区域地理学（GEOG 112G），文化与环境（GEOG 120G），地图使用和分析（GEOG 281），制图学和地理信息系统（GEOG 38
The Geographic Information Science and Technology (GIS&T) Concentration offers a solid foundation in geographic thought and human and physical geography, and provides students with advanced knowledge and skills in spatial analysis and modeling through the use of geographic information systems and remote sensing tools and concepts. Preparation for advanced studies is also provided.<br><br>Students must complete all University degree requirements, which include: General Education requirements, Viewing a Wider World requirements, and elective credits to total at least 120 credits with 48 credits in courses numbered 300 or above. Developmental coursework will not count towards the degree requirements and/or elective credits, but may be needed in order to take the necessary English and Mathematics coursework.
