This program gives you the foundation you need to start a successful career in geographic sciences. In the first year, you learn the basics of geographic sciences, how to use geomatics tools and technology (e.g., Global Positioning Systems [GPS], Geographic Information Systems [GIS], remote sensing) and you explore the individual disciplines and their interdependence. Throughout the first year, you get to know your strengths and interests and prepare to choose a concentration in your second year that focuses on a specific area of interest.
