Successful completion of Geographic Sciences - Year 1 or Advanced Standing.
Advanced Standing - To be considered, you must apply to and meet the Admission Requirements for the Geographic Sciences program. Advanced Standing is based on academic credits (certificate/diploma/degree) completed from a recognized public institution within the past ten years that meet the Academic Requirements of the full first year of the program. Advanced Standing is subject to seat availability.
IELTS: minimum score of 6.0 on each test (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
TOEFL IBT:80, TOEFL PBT: 550

The Cartography concentration is a second year option of the Geographic Sciences diploma program.Cartography is the study and practice of making maps by combining science, aesthetics and technique. As a cartographer, you are a visual communicator who builds and illustrates maps that are attractive yet functional, so they can be quickly and easily used and understood. You enjoy hands-on learning, detail-oriented work and use the latest data software and equipment. Your work may go on to stand as a valuable cartographic information source for many years.
