Companion and performance animals play an integral role in human society, from search and rescue, to therapy, to sports, to specialized and individual services. This program examines the physiology, nutrition, behaviour, and evolving role of companion and performance animals, as well as the sociology and psychology of the human-animal bond. The BSc in in Animal Health degree in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences will allow you to complete your pre-veterinary medicine requirements. Areas of study include the biology and behaviour of companion animals, the human-animal bond, and the safety and quality of the animal food supply.
