Applicants for Admission to an undergraduate Course must have one or more of the following:
completed Australian senior secondary studies,
completed overseas secondary qualifications or tertiary qualifications deemed equivalent to Australian qualifications,
completed Australian post-secondary or tertiary qualifications,
completed an approved admission Scheme or Pathway,
satisfied the requirements of an approved inter-institution agreement,
satisfied any additional requirements and/or selection criteria prescribed for particular courses,
obtained other equivalent qualifications and/or vocational experience,
A pass grade or better in an English language subject at Australian Year 12 level or overseas equivalent, or An IELTS (Academic) overall score of at least 6.0 with no sub-band less than 5.5, or equivalent TOEFL score of at least 213 in the computer-based test, or at least 79 in the internet-based test with no less than 22 in the written component. For direct admission into undergraduate courses offered by UNE you must have completed an educational qualification considered to be at least equivalent to completion of Year 12 in Australia. Successful completion of the IB with a minimum aggregate score of 26. Assumed knowledge is any two units of English.

Our combined degree enables you to specialise by studying one of four business majors to complement the paddock-ready skills you gain from the Bachelor of Agriculture component. Depending on your business major, you may also focus your agriculture studies by choosing one of six agriculture minors. You will be well positioned for career success with the expertise to adapt to a changing world. We have a strong foundation in teaching and research in both agricultural systems of production and business. UNE's SMART Farms, our Centre of Agribusiness, and the UNE SMART Region Incubator fosters growth in regional business and agricultural enterprises. When you study our Bachelor of Agriculture/Bachelor of Business, you will have the opportunity to network with business mentors, corporate and community partners while learning from our ground-breaking researchers in agriculture. Studying an agriculture and business-based course at UNE offers you the opportunity to:<br>Gain formal practical experience in agricultural enterprises and apply coursework theory to workplace situations during your studies to improve your employability as a graduate.<br>Access the latest agricultural techniques and technology at our innovative SMART Farms. With either properties covering 3,655 hectares, including farms within minutes of campus and a commercial scale feedlot, the UNE SMART Farms are diverse and valuable teaching and research resources that you will utilise during your course. The farms support a range of disciplines including grazing and intensive livestock, cropping, pastures, poultry, genetics and precision agriculture.<br>Contribute to our SMART Region Incubator which is run by the Business School and provides a supportive community for start-ups in the region. As a student you can be part of this lively entrepreneurial network.<br>Learn hands-on through our world class facilities including our state-of-the-art glasshouses and animal housing and handling facilities to learn skills and techniques that you will use throughout your working life.
