The UCD Agricultural Science programme offers 11 unique areas of specialisation. All have a similar first year, designed to give you a strong foundation in the core sciences, maths and economics needed for the rest of your studies. Areas of specialisation include:<br><br>Agricultural Systems Technology<br>Agri-Environmental Sciences<br>Animal and Crop Production<br>Animal Science<br>Animal Science-Equine<br>Crop Science<br>Dairy Business<br>Food and Agribusiness Management<br>Food Business with Chinese Studies<br>Forestry<br>Horticulture<br><br>Overall, there are 280 places in Agricultural Science DN250. The average number of students taking each specialisation is shown on the relevant page.<br><br>If youre interested in Agricultural Science but are not yet certain of which area to specialise in, you can select the No Preference (NPF) option on your CAO form. Then, during your rst year at UCD, you can choose your area of specialisation. If you receive an oer on the Agricultural Science programme, youll be guaranteed a place in any of the eleven specialisations from second year. If, on the other hand, you know which of the following areas youd like to specialise in, you can select one of these areas on your CAO application.<br><br>Length of Course:<br>4 years
