The Master of Business and Science degree with a concentration in Global Agriculture is designed to prepare students to work in and manage the global green industry. The objectives of the concentration are:Provide students with knowledge of the international agricultural industry,Provide students with knowledge of fundamentals in agricultural industry production and management,Provide students with a background in environmental conservation and the role agricultural enterprises play in maintaining a healthy global environment. The green industry is increasingly international. Crops and other agricultural products available in the U.S. are frequently produced in other countries. Use of crops in the developed world to produce fuels to run automobiles in the developed world can have ramifications elsewhere in elevating prices that result in starvation of many. This program is designed to provide the foundation of agriculture, plant pathology, environmental sustainability and crop management.
